Lights in the December nights

 

Christmas lights brighten the dark nights of December. We're hopeful in this season of Advent.

Santa was at Home Depot with lots of pre-lit Christmas tree options. Which would you pick?

We also ate homemade lefse and drank sparkling cider. Cranberry cake with butter sauce nicely finished our Thanksgiving meal.  

Just us

 

We'll have no grandparents and no extended family for Thanksgiving dinner this year due to Covid. But we give thanks for our many blessings, good health and delicious food.

Stuffed bird

 

The turkey is stuffed with whole onions and lemons. Under the skin, a mix of butter, parsley and some other secret ingredients will flavor it! It's almost ready for the oven on Thursday morning....

Appreciating Veterans

 

We celebrated Veterans Day on 11-11-2020, an annual event for the Eagan Rotary Club. The Eagan Kickstart Rotary Club also participated in this event which honored three veterans, two present and one at home in Covid quarantine.
