3rd Sunday in Advent

As we prepare for Christmas, some people light a weekly candle on their Advent wreath. Mine was handmade in Siberia, Russia by a small, family owned business. 

Happy 3rd Sunday of Advent

 

On Sunday, three candles will be lit on a Christmas wreath: two purples ones and the pink candle which represents the third Sunday of Advent. The third Sunday is called "Gaudete Sunday."
