Musical mid-week

My middle daughter and I played pieces from the Suzuki violin books. It was a special time at home to be together during this frightening, isolating time of corona virus. Let music lift you up with joy!

We can't go inside the Caribou Coffee shop now but their drive thru still welcomes coffee lovers. It was good to get out of the house for a quick java break!

Morning commute

Tuesday was a sunny morning on my way to my office. Cliff Road seemed less busy than normal. 

Supplies

I spent just over $72 on groceries. Hyvee really had some bare shelves on Monday night as everyone seems to be stocking up for staying at home. Schools closed. Restaurants closing. Activities canceled. Corona virus has altered life right now... 

Root canals on hold

This dental office is closed. What will patients do who need a "root canal?"

TP - it's no joke!

All the toilet paper was sold out last Friday at Target. People are stocking up for anticipated long stays at home due to the global corona virus outbreak. Let's hope and pray that it passes over sooner rather than later.

Flower duet

These high school girls sang "sous le dome epais" in French at Monday evening's Eastview High School choir concert. They sang like opera singers with this song from the "Lakme" opera.

Lovely lit lobby

This entryway fireplace and lobby are brilliant at the newly renovated EMAGINE movie theater. Saturday night's showing of "The Invisible Man" was action packed and a bit disturbing. 

99 bottles of booze on the wall

This "speakeasy" bar at 1278 Lone Oak Road is very cool. Fantastic drink selections and also an outdoor patio for this spring and summer at Volstead House. Cheers! 

No fresh veggies now

This public garden at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church raises fresh fruits and vegetables for the "Open Door" foodshelf. However, they are still on "winter break".....

The Eagan Bus Garage holds and repairs a fleet of local buses. It was dark along Highway 13 when I took this photo. 

no mas burritos

The "La Fonda" restaurant closed its doors several months ago. No more tequila drinks nor Mexican food can be found there anymore. What will be next....

Historic home

This 4 bedroom farmhouse was built in 1917. Now it's surrounded by a residential community of newer townhouses. Rumor has it that the original owner's two daughters still own this antiques loaded gem.

Super Tuesday

Minnesotans and voters in several other states came out to vote in the presidential primary on Tuesday.  I voted at my nearby church.  This photo was altered to protect my ballot privacy.
