Quietly in December

The Eagan Art House sits along Lexington Avenue surrounded by nature. Art classes are offered to the community and art sales happen there several times during the year.

At first, I thought it was a bike rack. Although no artist's plaque labels the work, this colorful sculpture is interesting to see at the Eagan City Hall!

On Sunday, Cheryl Caponi, owner and director of the Caponi Art Park, invited the community to celebrate their 30 years of art in their park. Her late husband, Tony Caponi, was an art professor, artist, sculptor and co-creator of the Caponi Art Park

With artsy friends

Rotarian friends from the Eagan Kickstart Rotary and others joined me in my office for my art "Vernissage" on yesterday's beautiful autumn afternoon. We shared wine, appetizers and a love of  original art.

Art fair season!

Throngs of people gathered at Central Park over the weekend to enjoy the 27th annual Eagan Art Fair. Potters, photographers, glass designers, woodworkers and more artists displayed and sold their creations. About 83 artists made it a great weekend event!

Art at Artworks

About 20 artist booths offered eager art fans and handicraft shoppers an array of beautiful choices from 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday afternoon in the Artworks building parking lot.

For me to attend two different art fairs in one weekend was incredible since all the other art fairs this summer were canceled due to Covid-19
