Yesterday morning, I was walking on Santa Monica beach in California. This morning, my view contrasts greatly....

My car was out of gas. At Holiday station, I paid $2.39 per gallon. How much is gas where you live?

"Lexington Pointe," an independent and assisting living / memory care facility, is currently under construction on Yankee Doodle Road and Lexington Avenue. The babyboomers are aging….

Eagan's only "skyscraper" is less than 15 floors tall. Formally a corporate office building, now it's a luxury apartment building.

Several choirs joined together in song. Then they took turns singing at the Monday night concert at Eastview High School.

The Boyland Sisters took a bow during curtain call on Saturday night at Eastview High School's  last performance of the musical, "Annie."

The Eagan Noon Rotary Club gathered at John and Jan's house for our annual Christmas party. You know.... wine, beverages, good food, chatting, singing Christmas carols. This photo captured about a third of the total group gathered.

Barbara Waltz, Still Earth Pottery, held her handmade pottery creations. Fun and practical.

On Saturday, art buying afficonados descended on the Eagan Art House and next door Advent Methodist Church to purchase pottery, painting, jewelry, etc. Myself, I love me some pottery!

Rotary Foundation trustee

Eagan Rotary Noon Club president Laura Helmueller posed with Jennifer Jones, trustee of the Rotary Foundation, after Thursday morning's breakfast meeting. Eagan Rotary Kick-Start Club, Eagan Rotary Noon Club and Burnsville Rotary Noon Club members joined along with District 5950 VIPs to hear Jennifer's informative and motivational speech about Rotary and its global service initiatives.

She was ringing a small handbell to invite donations for The Salvation Army in front of a grocery store.  We chatted, I took her photo and then placed some cash in her red bucket.

The Regal 16 movie theater has been renamed "Emagine" and totally renovated with reclining chairs. Moviegoers see a fireplace and sofas when they enter and spot a cocktail bar located at the right side of the lobby.
