Rob's paparazzi

Over 15 photographers gathered in Chaska at 7 am on Saturday morning for the 4th annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk. Site organizer & Life Touch photo guru, Craig Brubaker, gave us a portrait photography class before dividing us into two groups with two models. Six other camera dudes and I walked with model Robert J. Ware and photographed him in several alleys of Chaska. Did any other City Daily Photo bloggers participate?

  1. No women went along?? I had fully intended to participate on either day when I first heard about it, but on Saturday we went on one of our drives down the Mississippi and on Sunday we went to hear Seamus Heaney in St. Joseph. Couldn't resist either the turning leaves or the silver tongue of Heamus. Don't regret either decision. Next year I'll participate, hopefully with a new camera.

I think you did great...love the photos, especially the first portrait.

  4. I just read Clueless in Boston's post and he did the very same thing Leif, if they had one in Perth I certainly didn't hear about it, sounds like a good way to pick up some tips. You did a great job with the model, like the second pic a lot!

  6. There were several women in the other group of photographers. I think they had these walks in MANY different countries this weekend! Check it out for next year!

  10. I read about this a few weeks ago but forgot about it, and in any case, I spent the day taking photos elsewhere. Maybe next year.
