Front door family

A sparrow built a nest in the Christmas wreath on our front door. One day, there were two eggs, the next day three eggs and finally now four eggs.

When did this happen? Isn't it too early for nest building? A terrific gift!!

Christmas was a blessing for the birds

Great shots but now you'll have to leave the Christmas wreath up for weeks until the hatch and fly away. Oh will, Christmas in July is always good.

Great Photo Leif!

What a wonderful sight! No one but the sparrows use the front door?!

Wow! I've never seen such a bold bird before. Hope you don't need to use that door much. :)

I asked my husband just last week... if you find an abandoned bird's nest, won't you bring it home to me? :D

That's unbelievable! How could the sparrow lay eggs there? So cool! Maybe she thought that your wreath is a tree. That is why she nested her eggs there. ;D
