Time CHANGES

City Daily Photo's January theme day is "Changes." If it's 1 o'clock in the afternoon in Eagan, Minnesota, USA (Central Standard time), what time is it where you are with the time CHANGE?! What are you doing right now?

Clocks: 1:00 Rotary clock - Decorah, Iowa; 2:00 Eagan Rotary band shell; 3:00 Swatch watch wall clock - Eagan; 4:00 Grandfather clock - Stevens Point, Wisconsin; 5:00 Eagan Transit (bus) station; 6:00 Leif's old wristwatch; 7:00 Antique "kitchen clock" - Eagan; 8:00 "Out of business" bank - Eagan; 9:00 Leif's microwave - Eagan; 10:00 Lee retirement clock - Decorah; 11:00 Kuckoo clock - Stevens Point; 12:00 Viking bank - Decorah.

Wow, you could start a new meme about clocks.

Jerusalem is GMT +2 hours.

What am I doing? Eating hamburger and rice while blog-reading.

Good Morning, Leif. That's quite a collection of clocks to honour the change-makers in the Rotary Club world and important people and places in your life!

What am I doing now? Right now I'm sitting in my "room of my own" while the rest of the household is asleep (including the dog who ALWAYS wakes me up at 5 am), finishing my coffee, watching the waning blue moon and deciding to go downstairs to remove my morning baked apple from the oven for a delightful breakfast treat. Then a little bit of meditating to begin the year anew! Ready for CHANGE!!

That's a nice collection of clocks.

Bucharest is also GMT+2hours so that would make a 8 hours difference, with me being ahead. Right now (at 3.30 PM) I'm eating some New Year Party leftovers and thinking about getting a second coffee.

Great idea for this Theme Day! My obvious favorite is Leif's microwave, a real stroke of genius in a very funny post. Bravo!

I have found some nice photos from 2007 and 2008 that I would like to use in my blogs but last night was a bad night for me and I didn't get much rest. Most of the time I had one coughing fit after another. I thought I would try to just say, "thanks" to those who stopped today. I appreciate the comments, visits and prayers. I hope things will get back to normal soon.

Very clever idea! Well, let me see. If it is 1pm there it would be noon here in mountain standard time. And right now I'm looking at blogs in my jammys but should be getting ready to go hiking with the grandkids.

Over here in Athens, Greece it is currently about 03.15 and I am hoping that the kid is sleeping well, me, ... returning from the children's room as he woke up, branches of the tree make much noise as it is windy...life.
Please have a wonderful weekend.
