Urban cartoon art w/ a graffiti twist

Tami Phillipi's Fast Frame shop welcomed artist Shane Anderson for a commemorative poster signing. He held his featured St. Paul Winter Carnival acrylic painting commemorating the 125th anniversary of St. Paul's big, fun tradition.

Cool and colorful paintings. Frame samples on the wall look so elegant.

Great paintings, I love the contrast with the more traditional wooden frames in the background.

Thanks, Leif, you brought back to me the wonderful time friends had at last year's carnival. The paintings definitely reflect the the excitement they felt after being there.

The paintings are bright, colorful and fun. I am sure they would find lots of takers.

The paintings have a style all their own, which I imagine all artists want for their work. Very vivid colours. The one he's holding features the Ice Palace, too bad it's no more!!

Thank you Leif, it's always fun to hear what others say about my art. I am going to put a link to this blog on my website and on my facebook page. If you would like to "friend" me or just "like" my page you can search Anderson Illustrations.
