Annie Young paints with acrylic colors, runs triathlons, works full-time and laughs with humor and grace from behind the dark glasses of a blind person. She invited me to her art filled home to pick up her two art donations for Eagan Rotary Club's art gala fundraiser. Annie posed with two other works,
"Sleeping Beauty" which hangs over her fireplace and
"The Occupation," an emotionally inspired
American Flag, done after saying goodbye to her second son on his second deployment back to Afghanistan.

The first thing that I want to do is get more information about her, Leif. I hope that she has a website. Pretty remarkable!! I have an art post today, too. Great minds. The story of each artist featured, yours and mine, are more than just interesting, but yours is truly unique!!
Strong art - with very different emotional background.
Such an inspiration!
Sorry for what I'm going to say, from the thumbnail I thought it was a young George Harrison... Strong statements here.
Bon weekend !
Great Post Leif! Sleeping Beauty finde ich super als Bild und der Titel ist grandiose. Ich gehe jetzt mal in Ihren Blog...mal schauen!
Herzliche Grüsse von uns 2:)
Do you mean she cannot see???? How brave she is.
(regarding your comment on my post: I HATE IT, they have destroyed all the trees that were several centuries old. They are crazy people, the architect claims that architecture must exalt nature. Do you think it does so in Montpellier? There is no nature left).
Have a great weekend.
Very impressive

Hvilken dame!!
Hun lar ikke sine talent ligge ubrukt!
Også fin tulipan kunst på veggen.
GOD HELG,- til hele familien.
A brilliant and admirable artist!
Sie sind ein Geschenk!
