Filling an important need

The Eagan Valley Dental Center provided free dental care on Friday, February 4 which was the annual, national "Give Kids a Smile Day" in the USA. Dentist Glenn Perkins and 10 of their other clinic staff donated their time and talents to help 30 low-income kids on that community service day.

Fantastic service for kids, whether they like it or not. I'm going to ask my own dentist if he participates, and, if not, encourage him to do so!

So glad your community has a program like this. A little goodwill goes a long way.

Det vae en bra ting å gjøre, og noe mange andre kunne ha gjort også.
Her tror jeg skolebarn har gratis tannhelsetjeneste, men for voksne kan et tannlegebesøk være dyrt!

..or as they say in London: mind the gap. Tell them from us please that they do a very excellent job. This coming from someone who normally hates dentists!

Basic dental treatment is free for children in the UK, although it can be very hard to find dentists who will take on new patients...

I doff my hat to them. It's always nice to hear honest charity acts. Oral health is very important especially to these kids who don’t have the sources to maintain proper oral hygiene. I consider myself lucky to have an Austin Dentist who delivers excellent dental services. Thank you for posting this, it made my day :)
