Sweepin' Pelican

Spring arrived in Eagan and so have the street sweepers. Time to sweep the streets and clean up our city. I think the driver was gone on his lunch break?

I have seen bobcats and caterpillars, but never a pellican!

Wouldn't it be fun to climb in and go for a spin? Did you check to see if the key was still there?

No, he was hiding in the bushes behind the street sweeper lighting up a big ol' doobie!

Hey, that's what they do in California, so why not in Minny-sota?

Cute name for this contraption!

That's a fascinating piece of machinery for me. Our street sweepers are all people!

Some fancy machine!

It must be a nice place where one is able to leave such a large machine parked on the street.
Over here, the streets are as well cleaned by human force. Please have a wonderful start into the weekend.
p.s.: wonder whether the tree of your header has already leafes?

That's such a fancy-schmancy machine. Kerchoo! I know the work has to be done...kerchoo...but I am allergic to dust. Kerchoo!

I posted more shots of that mosque you asked about.

Cute, and very different from sweepers here, which have their brushes in the front. Somehow they remind me of antennae moving and I call them 'cockroach' sweepers, though doubt anyone else does!

Our city council here can't afford to purchase this machine. As you can see they use human power to sweep the street as early as 04:00AM(Morning).
