Statue of Liberty

Driving along Duckwood Drive in Eagan, I spotted this "Statue of Liberty" waving to passersby. He was trying to encourage people to use the "Liberty Tax Service" at 1340 Duckwood Drive to do their tax reporting. Well, federal and state taxes are due for all Americans on April 15 unless you filed an extension, so hurry up! Happy Tax Day!

LOL! You'd have to pay me a lot to do that job.
Very funny.

Yes, it's a funny idea indeed. To pay taxes is not funny.

Employment must be difficult if one is willing to wear that get-up, although I must say it is somewhat clever. Certainly got your attention!

I gotta say, this is one creative way to advertise a tax service!

That was an interesting sight, I'm sure!

I'm glad I got my taxes done early. I hate putting things off to the last minute.

Tax days are always stressful! So a little cheer can be quite welcome...

I guess today is probably his last day of doing that!

So what «Louis» wants to know is if things are just ducky on Duckwood Drive?

A guy dressed like Lady Liberty would encourage myself in doing the opposite of what he says...

It reminds me of a mob I saw in BA Argentina. When the traffic lights turned red, they would all (6 or 7 of them) march out onto the road in front of cars and hold up signs! They were back on the footpath before the lights were green.

Being an accountant this sight was for sure of interest. Having various investments in the U.S. these days are interesting.
So far the statue of Athens remains where she stand, yet current developments may force her to step down as well.
Wishing you a happy return and a wonderful Friday as well.

We have the same tax group and a guy dressed like that here; it's hilarious. Not sure how liberating it is to send more money to D.C. though. Good shot.

These guys, along with a couple of Uncle Sams, are all over the US. They're fun!

This is a great guy who worked all season through all weather conditions. He is earning money to go to college next year. Hard worker who never missed a day of work. These wavers bring smiles to faces, cheered up a person's day and reminded people that they live in a free and patriotic world, that yes, does have to pay taxes and a Liberty Tax Services is available to assist.
