It says "Earth Day" on my office desk calender today. My wife called and said, "The park & ride is full - how about that for an Earth Day blog posting?" So, I stopped there on my way home for lunch. I stood in the back of some guy's pick-up truck for this average quality camera phone photo. Go GREEN!

Nice Earth Day post!
Happy Earth Day.
We in Jerusalem, along with 13 other cities in Israel, turned out the lights for one hour.
And lots of celebrations!
As long as the cars are standing at the park and ride it is good for the earth, nice idea illustrating the thinking behind Earth Day.
At least while they're parked, they don't use fuel. And I assume when they come to pick them up again, they'll push them home.
Oops, didn't notice it was earth day, but I cycled to work yesterday and today. Monday and Tuesday we travel 50 miles, a little too far for the bikes!
Sorry it's such a long time since I dropped you a line. Thanks for your frequent visits and comments to York/Jorvik.
Your wife had a great idea, Leif! Happy Earth Day to you too!
Looks like a great day to go to the park! Happy Earth Day!
The trees don't seem to know what day it is. Someone should tell them it is Spring now.
They did the rest of the way walking I guess when they heard it was earth day!
It's the right photo for that day, Leif. Go green!
I'm happy people are using the park and ride, but am sorry we have so many cars around. I wish all cities had more efficient public transportation.
Belated happy Earth Day! I was sleeping all day long yesterday that I didn't even notice the date.
Nice post.Go green!
Did you get the guy's permission to climb all over his truck? What we don't do for our photographic passions!!
