Does anyone else like antiques? How about looking through antique stores? My family and I drove out to Stillwater last Friday, just a 20 minute drive from Eagan. My wife and three daughters had to drag me to the car! I hope others will show us antique stores in their city!

Love Stillwater. In the summer. Don't much like antique stores anymore, though, 'cause most of the things in them are "younger" than I am!
That's a lot of antiques! Stillwater is fun to visit although I haven't been there in a few years now. I'm trying to downsize!!
yes, antiques! have a few of my own and treasure them, especially ones from my family: two cherry drop leaf tables and a cherry "lap" desk built by my great grandfather's brother. He signed one of them! And there is also a set of white Haviland given to my great grandfather for his service to the Grange in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Thanks Leif for the photos! Do you think some of us are so entranced with "antiques" because our history is so short? Unlike any other country we visit in the world.

I love antiques! Of course Versailles is the perfect place except that next to nothing is affordable. Last time I spent a few bob at an antiques shop was in Seattle!

I love to poke around places like that but my style is more modern. As old as our town is we don't have any antique shops.
I actually entered a kind of antique shop in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City, but for farming tools and camel saddles, etc. Great!
In the Jewish sector I only know of "alte Sachen" stores.

Yes, I like antiques. I live in a century home (an ex-farmhouse more than a century old) so they are appropriate in my home.
