The Eagan Art House held its "A Community of Art Exhibit" on the last sunny, Sunday afternoon of August. Peter the Potter was demonstrating pottery, Holly the painter was painting and a high school student was playing violin pieces out of the Suzuki Book 7. (I only made it to the end of Book 4.) I bought the pottery plate and bowl stacked on Peter's table from the pottery sale across from him. A sale of drawings, photographs and paintings was happening inside. www.cityofeagan.com/eaganarthouse

I like these kind of house art houses that many artists are working in their own art and show them by exhibitions.

We lived near Chicago 1980-83, and so my daughter could have a Suzuki teacher at age 5.
Last week her 5-year-old son began learning violin in his kindergarten class in Australia.
Either you love violin or hate it.
Seemed to be a nice thing to do on a sunny Sunday. Saw on your profile that you like both Abba and Swedish fiddle so I guess you have been in Sweden amongst all the other places you seem to have visited? :-)
