The Eagan Art House held its "A Community of Art Exhibit" on the last sunny, Sunday afternoon of August. Peter the Potter was demonstrating pottery, Holly the painter was painting and a high school student was playing violin pieces out of the Suzuki Book 7. (I only made it to the end of Book 4.) I bought the pottery plate and bowl stacked on Peter's table from the pottery sale across from him. A sale of drawings, photographs and paintings was happening inside.

The exhibition looks like something I would enjoy for sure. I have posted photographs of 2 artists on my blog today as well.
Namaste. :-)
Sorry for being so irregular. Hopefully things will change for better soon.
I like art gallery. Is it free entrace?
une maison de l'art, c'est bien, cela ouvre toute sorte d'art a tous le monde.
Thanks for coming to my blog dear Leif.
I like these kind of house art houses that many artists are working in their own art and show them by exhibitions.
This time of year is wonderful because there are so many art shows. I like the variety of activities featured at yours.
I love events like this.
Love the name! Looks like a great place.
Well, that's nice. Give all you Eaganites a warm place to go in another few days!
Who's Art?
Post Office snowmobiles? That I'd like to see!
Bon weekend, Mr. Safe!
Das würde ich mir gerne anschauen...ich liebe Kunst aller Art und gehe gerne in Ausstellungen.
Es sieht sehr interessant aus!
Mach Dir ein schönes Wochenende:-)
It looks like an interesting show!

I like the photo of the potter - he looks so happy.
It's always good to support local artists and keep the creative fire going. Enjoy the pottery!:)
Nice picture of the potter and of the exhibition, I would surely find something nice to buy there.
Nice event and nice place (and of course nice photos :-)) I was a potter for about 12-15 years in Belgium, long ago.....
I made two quiches last Thursday. I took photos of them :-) I might post one later today. (lol)
You were a Suzuki violinist? Cool!
We lived near Chicago 1980-83, and so my daughter could have a Suzuki teacher at age 5.
Last week her 5-year-old son began learning violin in his kindergarten class in Australia.
Either you love violin or hate it.
Seemed to be a nice thing to do on a sunny Sunday. Saw on your profile that you like both Abba and Swedish fiddle so I guess you have been in Sweden amongst all the other places you seem to have visited? :-)
/Christina, Sweden
some nice nature photos om my blogs and one of them is in English :-)
Looks like this would be a hard place to leave!
Interessant og fint!!:-)
Art is good for the soul. I see you all shared a good time, that is great.
I'm trying to play catch-up with your posts since I continue to have issues with my laptop...grr!
I admire all communities that honour their artists! Great shots.
