Sadly, the weekly Wednesday
Eagan Market Fest events came to an end on Wednesday, September 16. I loved the
farmers markets with fresh produce,
$5 flower bouquets and other vendors.
"Elder Jazz" played on the Eagan Rotary Band Shell stage, a "seasoned" group of guys playing drums, bass, trumpet, keyboard and various
saxophones!

beau bouquet (musical et de fleurs)
I've come to love the farmers markets as well.
Don't look very "elder" to me! Sheesh! Bunch of kids!
I can imagine you will miss the $5 bouquets! Heh. Heh.
It's sad when those summertime events come to an end. But you'll have something to look forward to all winter!
Good things in life, flowers and music! :-)
Ha en fin helg!
There's always next year to look forward to!
What a great market
There is always next year...
Give me the Jazz, somebody els can have the flowers!
A bouquet of the flowers would have looked lovely on my desk...maybe next year. Sigh.
But on the bright side you have all of your wonderful photos to look back upon once winter strikes! Lovely colours:)
Oh, I meant to tell you, someone up thar in Minniesoda by name of Aliburton, Alsomeday, Altercation ... I can't remember, said I was the flower of my family!
Wasn't that nice?
'Course, she added that's because I'm a blooming idiot!
Sheesh!
Slightly ashamed by the witlessness of my last comment... I had a good night sleep, ans so here I am again!
Well, what can I say... Flowers and jazz. Ebony and ivory. Bangers and mash. It all fits together, doesn't it.
And also, the dominant color on the flower pic adds a BLUE NOTE to the jazz pic!
And you know that very important truth anyway: the older, the better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jazz and flowers, nice combination. A pity it's the end of summer...
So, did you get bouquets for all your lady blogger friends? Hope the jazz band was great. Sorry to hear it's ending. Something to look forward to next year!
Yup, it is a pity that summer is closing down. The markets are the real symbols of the season to me. And jazz!! Always terrific.
