Every Wednesday through the Summer, Eaganites gather for the fun "Market Fest." A farmers market offers fresh, local produce while kid games, activities and music happen all at the Eagan Community Center. On July 15, "Radio Disney" and Cascade Bay's "Captain Breeze" led kid games! A fun time was had by all.

ReplyDeleteall of that fruit and veg looks like it would pass the strict EU 'no misshapen produce allowed' test. Farmers markets I go to usually have the uglier stuff (tasty nonetheless!).
ReplyDeleteI love farmer's markets, too. And it's a good thing they have some entertainment for the kiddos...I mean, in Eagan, what else is there to do?

ReplyDeleteDid you see the film "Food, Inc."? If not, I recommend it. It will convince you to shop to your local farmers market as much as possible. Which is something I love to do anyways.
