One can rent a space to store one's canoe at Thomas Lake park. What a relaxing, peaceful ride it would be in a canoe.

The Iris flowers gathered in a crowd of purple beauty, just steps from Diffley Road. 

Fun and food at Fitz's

People flocked to Fitz's Bar & Grill outdoor patio under the Minnesota sun. No beach volleyball on the parking lot this year and no bowling inside, but order a beer and a burger! 

Rhubarb and more

Yesterday, the weekly "Market Fest" kicked off with its farmers' market. Fresh produce, honey, pastries and more were available at many booths under a warm, summer sun on the grounds of the Eagan Community Center.
Wednesdays from 4 - 8 pm! 

Gardens boxes

Seniors in a nearby apartment building can care for a garden box right our their patio door. 

Happy hour

A reduced number of patrons gladly gathered for drinks on Monday afternoon at Cherokee Restaurant. The patio had fewer tables and chairs per current Covid-19 guidelines. Cheers!

Re-open

Some stores have started to re-open at the Eagan outlet mall. People mostly wear masks and sometimes wait in line to enter a store with a shopper limit. 

Remembering....

On Memorial Day, we thank and remember past and present military personnel from all six branches of the United States military for their service.  God bless America!

My spring planting has begun with this Hibiscus on my balcony. That's what we usually do during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

These University of Minnesota fraternity friends social distanced in the parking lot of the Cherokee restaurant on Friday for their bag lunches together after a round of golf.

They were fishing on the dock at Thomas Lake.... probably for small "panfish."
