I am sure the first picture, Devils Tower, was the mountain from Close Encounters 3rd Kind. Great shots from your holidays. Looks like great weather. I have always wanted to visit these places.
I thought exactly the same thing as Mark when I saw Devils Tower, I loved that movie!! All iconic places you visited Leif, grea shots.
What a fabulous trip for the family. Love your earlier comment about the girls losing quarters. Never thought of that technique!

This is a classic Western vacation. I recently had my old slides transferred to digital. There were photos of my brother and I at Yellowstone in 1956, and my boys there in 1991, at about the same age as your children.
«Louis» is certain that the only reason you returned to Eagan is that you couldn't get one of your beloved lutefisk burritos anywhere on the trip and couldn't wait to get back to Eagan and head straight for the Taco Bell!
