Tony Campobasso, whose parents came from
Italy, was born in 1925. He delivered telegrams for
Western Union in downtown St. Paul in a khaki uniform in 1941 by bicycle. He serviced fighter planes during
WWII and later served his career with the US Postal Service. In 1960, he and his wife built their house in
Eagan which had only
500 inhabitants and lots of farms.
Daily biking keeps him slim, healthy and smiling!

He looks very fit! He also looks like he travels light...not much but himself on the bike. I like his mirror; mine is much too small so I might change it to something similar.
Tony makes me think I should get me a bike.
more of a half of decade and he looks so healthy... Cool! :)
Nice to meet you!
Good man. He doesn't look a minute over 60.
Now that's a memeory.......telegrams ya'll!
Bon weekend,

He's a piece of history!
I think he knows a lot about your city. My best wishes to this old boy!
I love his ride!
His bicycle is classy :D
Nice portrait and facts.
Good for him! I'm impressed. :)
Good for him. You are reminding me that I need to dust off my bike and go out riding tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
Always a safe road ahead for him. And yes, his life is impressive.
More power to him. I have a friend here in her late seventies, who still bikes, and will probably keep on pedaling for a long time. (She's super-fit, not one bit of cellulite.)
What an amazing biography, so fun of you to capture the lives of people, and share their stories.
