Some greyhounds have sad lives forced into racing. The adoption service for them is grand! Is that my puppy?
They still look pretty sleek Leif, gorgeous faces lookig in the same direction there. Love the yellow lilies at the side there.
Beautiful dogs! I'm sure they are much happier now that their racing days are over.

i think that dog races are despicable. These dogs are so lucky to have been adopted, and I hope that they are leading a life of leisure.
I agree with Kate alot of them never make it to adoption.

I love that people give homes to unwanted or retired greyhounds. They make great pets.
What a healthy and refreshing way to spend the day. Those hounds surely love that kind of weather:-)

Carie's two greyhounds posed for me after their "Dog Wash" on July 9 at Argosy University. "Polar" is 4 years old and "Cookie" is 8 years old; both are retired racing dogs.
