My 9 minutes younger identical twin brother, Luther, and I both donated a pint of blood at the Red Cross blood drive on Monday afternoon at the Eagan Community Center. He earned a two gallons pin and I'm working on my three gallons pin.
Give blood. Give the gift of life.

I admire both of you for your donations, but I REALLY admire his shirt. I know that you must have watched the game last Sunday; wish them well in the play-offs. A long shot, but wouldn't it be a kick if they made the Super Bowl without their longtime but long ago hero, Favre?!
i have been a blood donor for a long time but after i developed some trouble with my thyroid things changed. Keep up the good work! People dont realize how necessary these donations are.
I donated blood on Monday but I didn't have a twin to double the output. Has anyone mentioned that the two of you look kind of alike? :)
Thank you and your brother for your gifts of life.
I have never heard of a twin referred to as a womb-mate. It is nice that yo are still so friendly after being cramped up together for so long.
keep up this meaningful action!!
Good on ya!
This is such a great thing to do. Never thought about it much until I had my son and needed a blood transfusion - then suddenly I realised this blood came from another person who had no reason to do anything like this for me, but through their altruistic, unselfish action I was made better! Well done you!
My wife gave blood more than 25 times, I have never done so, which is not so good.
Way to go, you guys!! I tried to donate blood in August during a donation drive with my Rotary Club but unfortunately I was "deferred". I had just gotten a series of immunizations in preparation for my trip to Bali, so they said I had to wait a month. Will try again soon. I have to catch up! Thank you, Leif and Luther, for being blood donors!
Ah! Nice to learn that you both are such good guys!
good on you guys!
It appears that Luther and «Louis» go to the same barber...
This is very good of you both!
We have these "kenketsu techo (blood donor notebook)" here in Japan and I've always wanted one...but apparently I'm anemic and have never had the chance to. Still want to someday though! :-)
Must be fun to have a twin! I can't bear to part with my "life fluids" but I'm appreciative that other people can!
Habt Ihr beide gut gemacht! Hat sich Luther die Haare schneiden lassen? Er sieht so anders aus!?
That is a very good thing to give blood! I can't do it, unfortunately, since I'm chronic ill - but I would have liked to do it if things were different.
