I was right behind you

Sunday afternoon proved to be a very popular time to ice skate at the Eagan Ice Arena. And it was much warmer than the outdoor skating rinks!

We have spent many happy hours in the past with our kids on SPA's indoor rink...so much fun. Hope your girls like and enjoy it because it's a wonderful winter pastime for this part of the country. Careful of their heads, tho...I'm serious; I've seen some nasty and serious falls by younger kids over the years. It's hard to get them to wear helmets but I think it's important. No problem with our son because he was a hockey player; now skis as gracefully as an angel on skates.

Should read "skates as gracefully..." but he also skis the same way, too!

My wife and I talked yesterday about skating - and concluded last time must have been more than 50 years ago. But the feeling of the movement is still in the body.

This is a good one. Hope you were not ice skating while you were holding the camera.

P.S. Glad to give inspiration-:)

hee hee....
«Louis», klutz that he is, would have been on his bovine butt had he tried ice skating! He most assuredly would have provided comic relief for the other skaters...

Envious! Looks like great fun and good exercise. It was cold and rainy here in Houston yesterday....

How fun. It was a dangerous time the few times I tried it. The fear in all the other faces when I flew by.

That is a nice scene, Leif.

A lovely scene, I can't imagine how skating outside would be better than this!
