I
knit this 85% wool/15% mohair
scarf as a silent auction item for the upcoming 23rd annual
Eagan Rotary Art gala fundraiser. I hope someone will bid some
$$$ on my
scarf! My wife and already 2 of our 3 daughters also
knit. We're a close knit family!
Do you knit? Do you have any hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a knitter! I hope your scarf sells for a good price. Adding a photo of you knitting might increase the bids. Let us know how it goes.
I haven't knitted in years, but you have given me an idea!
Will you knit ol' chrome-dome «Louis» a new toupée? Remember - «Louis» goes to the same barber as Luther...
The scarf looks great! I do knit (not well though!) see my photo as evidence - I never did get around to giving him some eyes...!
You're very gifted, Leif, it looks great!
I don't knit, but I might take it up someday. It seems like it would be relaxing. I like activities that let me shut down my brain and focus on them.
looks like you might need it in Eagan, my hobby is visiting the hardware store to buy the nails I forgot on the last visit.
... and for me? Stop 3. hahaha
You are so talented, Leif!
As a child I learned to knit, but I think I did it last time 60 years ago. Hobby? Shooting photos, blogging, walking. At the moment - listening to politicians because election to parliament will take place some time in 2011. It is often a peculiar way of communicating. Today I saw an old sign at the National Museum: Don't spit at the pavement. Remember that!
I hope you make a bundle! Nice scarf if I were there I would bid on it. Maybe your family should start your one Etsy store. Right now photograph and blogging are my hobbies. I am hoping to take an Encaustic painting class this year.
I just shared this on Brattleboro Brief, but I love to knit but due to my dwindling attention span, I'm reduced to short term projects. I like this scarf LH. Hope it b rought in big bucks for your club!!

You're not only a close knit family, you're knitting for a better world. Bless you and your family!

I am not a knitter ! but your photo is good !
Looks like a great work. Congrats! I can't knit. I'm a good dishwasher ;))
It's a beautiful piece of work! Do you give lessons? I'm game!!
I can knit. But not something that would turn out as nice as this!
Der scarf sieht aber auch toll aus...super gemacht
Leif! Ist das darkblue?
Looks so plush and cozzzzzy! You did a great job, Leif. So nice and even. I've knitted in the past but my attempts of a scarf have turned out crooked...either lose a stitch or gain a stitch! I'm certain you'll get a hefty bid for your pretty scarf.
What a nice thing to do.
Good onya, Leif. I wish someone had taught me to knit.
These years my "hobby" is Jerusalem.
I love the idea of a closed knit family ! Congratulations to you all !
I don't know any men who know how to knit. My mother, aunt and elder sister used to knit quite a lot but none of them has done so in ages.
I never got into it, couldn't be bothered. My first scarf was too ugly to wear or offer anyone, I lost interest at the age of 13.
I've heard that knitting is becoming fashionable again in France but this new trend is yet to reach anyone I know.
Congratulations on your great work anyway, I hope the scarf sells well!
