A passageway to ...

... hopefully Spring, warmer weather, an end of Winter snow and the entrance to Caponi Art Park. This is the passageway to the park from their very snowy parking lot which was unplowed when I trudged through it for this photo. March's theme for the City Daily Photo blog community's theme day is "Passageway."

Nice photo, good story and a wonderful park which is absolutely worth seeing. Whenever I visit your blog I'm encouraged to stay in your lovely town.

Thanks for making the sacrifice of trudging through the snow. Our seeing and learning about the art park makes it worth it.

a safe haven to go through from the weather. good choice for theme day to remind us how important it is to have those types of passages. we just got back from tanzania, africa so we are a bit behind on catching up on everyone's websites but will be doing so this week. I hope all is well.

Leif, this is exactly what came to my mind when I read "passageway"--there were plenty like this in St. Louis where I grew up. Haven't found any in Beirut, though. Thanks for sharing!

Nice shots, Safe Leif. Great theme day post. I was wondering at first if this was the passage people sneak out of Eagan in the winter to come to Florida?

Great place to go on a bike so that you don't have to deal with traffic! We need more of these here. It does look very cold in there though.

Fine passageway - like a funnel!

Nice theme day entry. I like the sculptures, they are all beautiful. Looks like spring it's on its way to Bucharest too, the temperature's been around 50 degrees all week. Hope your spring will come soon.

The tunnel looks a bit gloomy, but what you can see at the other end seems worth the trip

Very interesting art pieces! And I can see a slice of beautiful blue sky.

By the way, glad you enjoyed my travel blog! :-)

This is even scarier than Jacob's passage. But the sculptures are lovely!

Hola Amigo,
Ese paso parece llevarte a un parque muy interesante lleno de esculturas muy artísticas. Este año todo el mundo espera la primavera con impaciencia.

Wow. I would never have thought that this passageway led to such treasures! Did you take photos of the sculptures in the snow? I hope Spring comes to you soon!

A nice choice for this Theme Day. I hope you'll soon be able to get rid of all that snow...

Good choice with a reward at the end. But, I think the tunnnel looks pretty intimidating. Wouldn't want to be there during a flash flood!
