The Rhythm Anchors

While my wife was out with the ladies on Friday night, our three girls and I visited Ring Mountain Creamery Cafe'! They have fabulous ice cream and jazz music topped off our frozen treat! Bob Martin plays acoustic guitar and Jeff Wachter accompanies him on his electric mandolin. Friends of 15 years, both guys like sailing and Bob worked formerly for the U.S. Coast Guard. Bravo! Encore!

I'm a fan of Jazz. Though I most love Classical Music. But I guess for an Ice Cream shop, That would be PERFECT! Imagine having your Ice cream while Jazzy Music is playing! How great would that feel :D

Jazz anywhere is perfect. Hope your girls enjoyed themselves. I was introduced to Jazz in elementary school, and my appreciation of it has never wavered. Love that musicians spend their time in little shops and cafes.

I'd figure you would be found at some place where they sold food or something like it. The jazz was just a nice addition, right?

How come you don't weigh 300 pounds?

«Louis» salutes the "Coastie", the most misunderstood and least known of our Services.

This looks like a fun place to go! E-mail «Louis» some of their ice cream, will ya?!

Oh that is very "home town". I hope they collect a lot of money in their spittoon...

Many thanks to Leif for giving Jeff and I our “15 minutes of fame”. This was our first time playing at the Ring Mountain Creamery in Eagan - and hopefully they’ll have us back again. We play for the love of the music and being able to connect with an audience in a way that is truly special. As to Leif’s girls enjoying the jazz, well, it appeared to me that they were much more into their gelato. Lastly, this former dit-dot-jockey (aka Morse code operator) appreciates the ‘salute’, Louis. Best regards to all.

It looks like a fun place to be - the chap on the right looks like he's really enjoying himself. The copper pot on hte chair makes a nice touch.
Thank you for your kind wishes and words. It has been a trying time over here but everybody is well.☺
Cheers.

Oh that's nice! I love that. America is really a "music country". That's one of the things I love there. I miss that!
