Sue Luse works as a certified educational consultant with high school students searching for the best colleges for their needs. Formerly an elementary and piano teacher, Sue started her business, "Suzanne Luse & Associates," back in July 2001. This "Jam Session Room" offers students a place to prepare applications and exchange information.

Election Day

November 8 was a national day for elections in the United States. In Eagan, we only voted on members for our local school board. My wife and I voted in the Red Pine Elementary School gymnasium. How do elections work where you live?

Fire engine red

Have you ever ridden in a fire truck? This red beauty was displayed at a recent open house. I just wish Fire Chief Scott would invite me on a "ride along" in a fire truck sometime! See other Ruby Tuesday participants here.

Our friend, Erica, was raking leaves in her side yard when I drove past. So, with camera in hand, I walked over later for a photo of the famous outdoor clothing model!

Photographer Michael Proebstle and his wife Cathy with "Legacy Creative Images" took photos of kids dressed up at the annual Sunday afternoon Halloween event at the Eagan Community Center. I think Michael is an aspiring "City Daily Photo blogger!"

Our neighbors, Ken & Lana, threw their 4th annual, fun neighborhood Halloween party with lots of kids, parents, food, beverages & costumes! Then everyone went out trick-or-treating in the area!

Ravishing red road

It was a cloudy day but the red maple trees lining Central Parkway before the Eagan Community Center were divine!

Mesaba Airlines will permanently close its Eagan headquarters December 26 as decided by owner Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines. Founded in 1944, Mesaba was the longest-flying regional airline in the United States. Delta Airlines sold it to Pinnacle Airlines last year for $62 million. So now 193 jobs will fly out of our city.

Eagan Rotarian series #23

Rob Fagot, with a French family name pronounced "fah-go," grew up in Danville, Illinois. He played football for University of Kentucky at Lexington and has worked as a promotions account executive for Promotion Plus for 22 years. Rob and his wife live in Eagan with their four kids. A fellow Eagan Rotarian for 4 years, Rob is a good guy to know and an area football coach for 7th graders.
