This flower pots greeted me at Kowalski's grocery store.  Then I noticed the mums.... an autumn flower.....

The Magic Flute

Nearly 300 people gathered at Caponi Art Park on Friday evening to watch a modern interpretation of "The Magic Flute" performed by "Mixed Precipitation." They called it a "Pick-up Truck opera."

Market Fest

Remember that the weekly Market Fest is on Wednesdays from 4 - 8 pm. Live music also plays there at the Eagan Rotary bandshell. Buy flowers, produce, raw honey, handmade soaps and enjoy food or ice cream from the food trucks!

 This traditional Tejano band played at the Eagan Rotary Bandshell at Market Fest last Wednesday.

Accident event

A traffic accident on Saturday night brought police cars, an ambulance and fire trucks to the Silver Bell Road and Nicols Road intersection.  Details are still pending...

 Over the lunch hour, I stopped by Trader Joe's to buy an orchid for my office. Love that place!

 After checking in with a voting judge, one takes the ballot to a voting booth. How is it by you?

Yesterday afternoon, I participated in the primary election at my precinct's voting location which was inside Christ Lutheran Church. I wonder if anyone did the "curbside voting".....

40 year penpals

While on vacation last week in Liechtenstein, I visited my longtime penpal, Monica. A photographer and reporter from their local newspaper, "Liechtensteiner Vaterland," came to Monica's house for our backyard photo and interview. I have visited Monica several times in the Principality of Liechtenstein and she has visited me twice here in Eagan.

Mellow Yellow Monday

This buttery butterfly seems to blend right in among its environment.  Luckily, Cathy Patterson Miller's keen eye spotted this beauty!

Eagan to Paris and Liechtenstein

These three Eagan Wildcats t-shirts flew in my suitcase to Europe. My friends' sons in Paris each received a shirt and cutie pie Selina in Liechtenstein got the third shirt. 

Airport vibe

Wings Financial Credit Union was earlier known as the Northwest Airlines Employees Credit Union and founded in 1938 by seven employees in St. Paul. Nowadays, you don't have to be a pilot, flight attendant or baggage handler to bank there. 

The blues

 The blue umbrella seemed to match the blue sky at the new, luxury apartment building. 

Ice cream choices.....

 Waiting in the drive-thru, you need to decide...... ice cream cone or sundae or blizzard for float?!

At first, I thought it was a bike rack. Although no artist's plaque labels the work, this colorful sculpture is interesting to see at the Eagan City Hall!
