Our oldest daughter celebrated her birthday with 5 middle school friends. They painted ceramics at Color Me Mine. Later they ate pizza at our house, watched movies and had a sleepover.

Sounds like a fun time for middle school girls!
Creating art is a good activity to share for people of any age. We are part of a group of 9 friends who meet every month or so to share art that we make, each session based on a different, common theme.
Such fun Leif! Gosh they soon grow up don't they.

Really, I think I'd get along very well with your girls. My nieces and I frequented Color Me Mine a lot when they were here, and when I had to babysit, we always ended up with crafts workshops. :D
