The
Christmas Eve dinner table was prepared and the food was cooking in the kitchen. Our menu included:
Swedish meatballs, potatoes, lefse, fruit soup,
lingonberries, cooked
carrots and
cranberry cake with butter sauce for dessert. Grandpa and Grandma Lee joined us from
Decorah, Iowa.

Looks like the best location in the house. The place to get fed and, the place to watch the neighbors and see who is coming and going.
The table is set for a few hours of memory-making with the family. Enjoy!
Looks ready for the rampage. Hope you day went well. Hohohohohoho!
No lutefisk burritos?
LOL at your comment at Hartford DP!

Looks like a grand Christmas lunch spread.
I was at a Polish house, where the tradition is carp on Christmas Eve. But ... Swedish meatballs! Sounds delicious. Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas...

How wonderful to have more family during Christmas! I'm so happy for you.
Wishing you a beautiful and happy new year too, Leif.
I'm sorry I haven't been visiting much, but between all the Christmas gatherings, calling for donations for the flood victims, and preparing our office's budget request, I've just had too little time to go blog surfing. The entire CDP community is always in my thoughts and prayers, though.
