Great program! I often see them at the downtown Farmer's Market, sometimes in training. Saw a dismaying article in the newspaper not too long ago stating that the coats and equipment are available for sale on the internet and people are buying these items to enable them to get special privileges, e.g. on airplanes. Dastardly!!

Wonderful post today. I used to have a yellow lab, and they are smart. There is a musician in the Phoenix Symphony with an assistance dog, a lab, and the dog is on stage for the concerts.
Good to read about the use of the dogs for vets. My brother and sister-in-law both work at the Veterans Administration hospital in St. Cloud, so we are obviously supporters of the deserving assistance for veterans.

As a child / teenager we had 3 Labrador`s. And i know they are very nice and good dogs. Great and also an important job they will be doing. All the best to the ladies and the dogs!

Good doggie! Love the idea that they are helping vets. My dog Milo is a pet therapy dog at Bridgeport Hospital. He's certified through Pet Therapy Inc.
