Annuals & perennials, oh my!

The Eagan Garden Club held its annual spring plant sale at Holz Farm on Saturday morning. Hanging flower baskets and many plant varieties were available for eager shopping gardeners!

I love this time of year. In Connecticut, I adhere to the rule of not planting annuals until May 15, since we can still get cold snaps. However, yesterday I did go out and buy three large hanging baskets filled with great plants, reasoning that I could carry them inside if one of those nasty cold snaps was threatened.
