After visiting the Stillwater Art Festival on Saturday afternoon, we walked along the flooded St. Croix River. The "Lift Bridge" connects Stillwater, Minnesota with the shores of Wisconsin. Oh, what a sight. At least the downtown streets were not flooded! Or, were they? Great photo for Bridges Sunday. By the way, what do you think about St. Olaf charging admission for the Christmas holiday concerts? Read that there's

Don't know what catches the eye most: the complicated structure of the bridge, the island of flowers or the realization that the banks are under water.
Great composition, Leif! Not only the bridge is fantastic but also the little garden in the water looks lovely.

The water is all the way up to the bottom of the bridge! That is some flood!
That's an odd sight to see - the bench in the water! I do like the bridge and the I'm glad the flowers didn't get flooded!
Nice compositions. I like the industrial angularity of the bridge and the warm colors of the flower island. Lots of water!
