"Funny Don" drove his black 1929 Ford Model A, Murray body, 4 door town car over to my office for this photo. His Aunt Dorothy bought the car from its original owner, Edna Johnson, in 1958 for $200. When Don's Aunt Dorothy died in 2001, Don bought the car from her daughter, Dottie. The car is in mint condition!
Don began his career in computers at West Publishing in downtown St. Paul in 1969. He retired in Eagan as their Accounts Receivable department manager in 1997. He's a fun and funny guy to have in our Eagan Rotary club.

Yup, he looks like someone I'd like to know. His car should be a huge drawing card for many car buffs.
And I'm guessing the car is worth a little more than $200 these days!
So well preserved.
What a neat old car. Glad it's been kept in the family!
What a great car and it's even better since he knows the whole history.
That is a nice one! My grandmother always used to tell me stories about her Ford Model T Roadster she got when she was 16 and how she met my grandfather driving around in that car.
That's what I call a family car! It's a beauty!
I love that car - reckon it'd be worth a lot more than $200 now. That would be the new version of the tin lizzie.

This is precious! How well kept is this classic!
God bless you!

I bet he gets admiring looks wherever he goes in that car.
j'aime cette veille voiture, cela fait penser au film "bonny and clide" ;)
Er dette en bil, som brudepar kan leie til og fra kirken??
Den ser veldig fin ut! Og det er så br at folk tar vare på sånne klenodier.
Well done, Safe Leif! I remember those from my youth. This is a rather unique one...and like myself, beautifully preserved!
Don has something to be proud of there.
What a neat old car and it looks so well preserved. Quite a beauty.
I'd love to ride in a car like this; never have.
Wonderful old car. I'd be worried going around on such a precious thing...
What a gorgeous old car!
