The sanctuary was decorated with poinsettias for Chrismas Eve worship. Every Sunday in Advent, the visual arts committee added more decorations until Christmas Eve! Look back at the second sunday in Advent to compare, click here. Gloria Dei Lutheran Church members & visitors had 4 Christmas Eve services from which to choose.

Oh, my! Yes, there really is a huge difference created by all the lovely red poinsettias. With or without the flowers, the sanctuary is quite beautiful.

That is beautiful. I love the colours of the flowers here - deep rich red.

As you know, «Louis» really likes the looks of Gloria Dei.
Joyeux Noël à vous et à vôtre famille!
Beautiful indeed. Just with what it needs. Nothing more, nothing less. Assume the atmosphere to be holy indeed.
Beautifu, Leif! Have a wonderful Christmas! Greetings From Jakarta
Wow, what a beautiful place to be on Christmas Eve. All the best for the Christmas period.
Dear Leif,
Merry Cristmas to you and your nice family!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
It looks beautiful and a lot more festive than the second Sunday photo. I love all the red, makes the interior look warm and elegant.
The red carpet and poinsettias make for a lovely christmas atmosphere :)
Oh, lovely! It's the christmassiest church I've seen so far. Our church has (I'm embarrassed) two poinsettias.
