The couple living in this house just north of Eagan along
Cedar Avenue has a famous tree. Why? Because everyone saw it during the holiday season on their commute home from work or on the way to the
Mall of America or en route to
Minneapolis! They told me that it's lit up with
41,300 lights on
150 strings of lights!

That is awesome! And someone there is a very, very patient person.
Hi,
This is impressive. Thanks for popping in to Whitby and all the best for 2010.
la magie de noel, superbe cet arbre de lumiere.
Beautiful, but it must take a lot of work and a lot of electricity.
Dette var NYDELIG, Leif! :-)
Oh WOW! That must of taken forever! It's a work of art :D
At first I thought it might be the tree on your header. I seriously doubt that the owners did the trimming since enterprising companies now do it for homeowners. One of these years I'm going to follow the newspaper's list and visit some of these wonders. My granddaughter loves all of them, the tackier the better and some are really over the top! This one is tastefully done.
Kinda impressive I guess, although I don't understand why people do this sort of thing. I prefer "my" tree!
What a gift they've given their community with this tree, decorated to beautifully!
Wow, that's a very beautiful and impressive tree. I'm trying not to think about all that global warming warnings.. :D
Love it, Leif. Seems MN got its white Christmas after all...I've been getting mobile snapshots from my sister.
My word, that is a LOT of lights. All I can think of is I would not like the one to take them all down. MB
"All lit up"
«Louis» thought you had been drinking again...
Wow!! Looks incredible...but not an example of "going green" for sure!!
Pretty!
That is amazing! Muy bonita!! I hope that didn't short out their entire street! Great photo, Leif.
I don't think Steffe got what he wanted for Christmas and is grumpy about it...
That is an amazing amount of work and the result is spectacular. It must be a sight enjoyed by everyone who passes.
Hope this is not one of those where one bulb blows the lot and you have to try each bulb to find the rogue one!
This is the most impressive chirstmas decorated tree I've ever seen! Really amazing!
Wow some kind of tree. Wonder what their electricity bill will be he he. Happy New Year!

Have a Happy New Year!
Hey that's the heck of a beautiful tree if u don't mine my vulgarity here. Even the small twigs bear lights. Great choice to post it here. Thanks. Happy 2010 Leif and family. :)
That's a beautiful tree, all lit up like that. I'd be curious to see their electricity bill :)
Happy New Year Leif for you and your family! All the best in 2010.
I've seen that tree many times and wonder how long it takes to put the lights up and take them down. Sure is pretty at night!
Is it the same tree as your header display? so beautiful when it is light up.
You Got A Posty
All Little Things I Like
That's quite a masterpiece of lighting.
Every December when when we travel almost 400 miles to visit our Eagan granddogs Ruby & Millie & their family, we look for the beautifully decorated tree.
