My parents, my family and my twin brother's family ate a traditional
Thanksgiving noon dinner at my twin brother's house. The menu included
turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, dressing, carrot dish,
lingonberries, cranberries, bread, pumpkin pie and some
"Beaujolais-Villages" red Burgundy wine.

Sounds good! Never heard of lingonberries though.

Always is important to thank what we have. Warm photo.

Sounds delicious! I'm still recovering from yesterday myself.
belle photo de réunion familiale, il y avait du monde, c'était un bon Thanksgiving (la fête de la famille)
I'm surprised! Everyone looks so normal and happy (not slap-happy!) Are you sure these people are related to you? Heh. Heh.
More later...check Ocala DP tonight for tomorrow's post.
Dette ser koselig ut.
Jeg ser at du har MYE å være takknemlig for, og da tenker jeg FAMILIE før maten! :-)
Ha en riktig GOD HELG.... "over there i uniten".
wow, that's a feasty thanksgiving!
all of them sure looks very happy and hungry in this foto! ^-^
Happy Thanksgiving Leif! A lovely picture of a beautiful tradition.
Hi Leif and family, Yes, you have much for which to be thankful...everyone looks healthy and happy! You had about the same size gathering as we did. I love the sweatshirt your brother is wearing! Did you let him watch the game? Don't tell him, but, you're not only 9 minutes older, but you're better looking, too. I'M JUST KIDDING!! You're both quite handsome!!
Hey that's a nice family picture to keep. You know what, I have seen many movies with a bunch of folks having turkey. We don't have that tradition here so I really get hungry when I see it and would like to storm in some of those nice houses grab the huge turkey and run away with it under one arm while snatching away a good bite. But then I think this is to thank God and I feel remorse :) And pumpkin pie oh that is a sin!
So nice to see your nice family.
And the pies in the last post, wow!
And the church has such simple elegance.
Todah raba (thanks much) for your comments about my airport posts. The joke is that I have terminal sickness--just gotta have visits to the airport terminal, as often as possible. :)
On your next visit, please check back in to read some answers to y'all's questions and comments about the airport synagogue.
Have a good rest of the weekend.
My, what a nice family! Happy Thanksgiving to all from Barcelona, from both of us!
Nice happy family dinner, good to see some traditions are still held. No turkey here this week and not till Christmas I think.
A lovely family gathering with a delicious meal. I don't know these berries but I am sure they must be lovely.
What a heartwarming picture to see at two in the morning. Guess I'll take a look at small Stefan and see whether everything is fine.
No such a celebration over here in Greece, but a day filled with lessons.
For you all, a wonderful weekend.
It's remind me of some of our Christmas dinner. A beautiful photo of a happy family!
What a lovely family photo, taken from the perfect angle. I guess that's one advantage to having a twin---he takes the photo, and somehow he is still in the photo!
Your photo has a cheery, Norman Rockwell-like composition!
Looks like a wonderful family time!
