Mr. Peterson worked really hard to decorate his Halloween doorway this year. Kids who "trick or treated" at his house heard spooky music, saw a scary creature hung from above and maybe encountered a few surprises! November 1 is City Daily Photo's theme day: "Doorways!"

I wonder how many kids dared go up to that door and beg for candy? That blur you saw was no doubt a cloud of children running down the street!

this is a great doorway and I used to love it when people would do stuff like this so, as a kid, you had a great experience that was not too scary

Now that is just plain awesome! I'm afraid my grandkids would not have approached it though. They got scared a couple of times last night and refused to go to the door because of something scary. I had to be the brave one and go get the candy!
