Ted the
O'Mara's Irish Creme wholesaler was offering samples at
Cellars liquor store. I tried both the
Chocolate Mint and
Carmel flavors before proceeding on to find some Thanksgiving
wine. His lack of
accent told me that he's not from the
"old country." I'll have to come back for a bottle of
O'Mara's another time! I just wonder how many samples I could have tried before he would have cut me off . . .

Keep a bottle aside for an old (former) Dub(liner), please
Ha! I'm glad you didn't find out how many he'd let you try and THEN try to drive home.
I like the Vanilla and the Chocolate Mint...and there are no calories at all! Well, I looked, and I couldn't find any!
I'm surprised this gentleman had anything left with you wandering nearby! How many bottles did you buy in order to get permission to take his picture?
Heh. Heh. I'll bet your "wine" was Cherry Kiafa!
You can keep the wine; I would take only the chocolate mint Irish Creme.
hey, if he was offering them, he was also expecting you to try them :P
Hope you had a good night.
I'll take some!
Yes, please. I'll take a few bottles.
I prefer Jameson Irish Whiskey, not the sissy chocolate and mint flavored stuff!
Sorry, I prefer Scotch malt whisky!
The hat btw was a bargain!
I'll take the sissy stuff any day. Yummm. Glad you didn't take too many sips before driving home!
Being in love with Ireland for many decades, wearing an Irish Tribal, this was for sure of interest. Only today I bought me a couple of Guinness - which sadly come in cans...yes, I know it is close to a sin to drink that, but that's the least I get.
A wonderful first Advent for you
Interesting!
I'd like to try some of them.
One of each, please!!!
I like the idea of samples...
Hi Leif !! Take a bottle out and keep it with you. When i will come to Eagen we will have it together.
Leif to Police officer: Ocifer, (hic) wouldya hold mah Irish Cream while ah fish out mah (hic) driver's licen(hic)ce?.
Officer to Leif: Your eyes look a little bloodshot! Are you sure you only drank samples?
Leif to Officer: Well, (hic) ocifer, your eyes look a little glazed! How many trips have you made through the drive-through at the Krispy Creme so far this (hic) shift?
Officer to Leif: Please get out to the car, put your hands behind your back.
CLINK!
Yes please!
Ah, that's my kind of shop. Recently I ended up waiting in Zurich airport, where they have a whiskey and wine tasting shop. I started chatting to the guy serving (who didn't own the outfit) and by the time I had to take the plane I was feeling no pain....
