Daisy Girl Scout Investiture

The Daisy Scouts held their special ceremony recently at the Eagan Library. These 6 year old girls processed in with the American flag and Girl Scout flag, lead us all in the "Pledge of Allegiance" and said the Girl Scout Promise.

Everything's coming up Daisies! I thought they were Brownies. Maybe that's before Daisies. If you tied a rope around them you could sing "Everything's coming up roses." Oops! I mean daisies!

Bloom where you're planted, Hagen!

Daisies? We have Brownies and Girl Guides.
If they all linked hands, would they be a daisy chain?

I joined the girl-scout at the age of 7 or 8. It meant quite a lot for me and my friends.... for many years. Your photo brought back some old memories. We even went to Adelboden in Switzerland to an International camp!
These little girls are so cute, and I am sure they will have lots of fun and good friendship in years to come!
