Donors gathered on Monday evening at The Open Door food shelf's annual gathering for an update and thanks from board chair Carol and Executive Director Jason. It was over 90 degrees but "cooler" under the tent. 

Green Acres

A large garden gives community volunteers and gardening fans the opportunity to grow vegetables for the nearby Open Door food shelf. This place is located on the side of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church on Rahn Road. 

Glazing time

Nancy, an Eagan Art House volunteer, was helping these persons dip / glaze some handmade bowls for the upcoming Empty Bowls fundraiser to benefit the Open Door foodshelf on Thursday, March 19 from 11 am - 7pm at St. John Neuman Catholic Church.  The Eagan Art House hopes to donate 300 of the 1,000 donated bowls!
