I love wood. But in Florida, it can be a problem. First and worst are the hurricanes which tend to make toothpicks out of wood homes and second are the termites which make dust out of wood homes. So we won't buy a wood home here, which is too bad. And it's too cold to live in Minnesota at our advanced ages...
