A lucky runner

Eaganite Lance Kuehn ran the Boston Marathon last week in 3 hours and 16 minutes. He was eating a post race lunch with his family when the bombs detonated at the race finish line. This St. Olaf graduate who teaches sciences at Rosemount High School has run 10 full marathons, an Ironman and other races. He qualified for the Boston Marathon at the Twin Cities Marathon with a time under 3 hours and 5 minutes. He's hoping to run a future New York City Marathon.   (Race jacket logo below)

I can just imagine how his students questioned him! He is a very fortunate man to have escaped the ravages of the blast, and I'm sure that he and his friends and family are thankful!

Congrats to him for finishing the race. I can't imagine what he must have felt when the bombs exploded.
