For a hefty price tag, this neighborhood along the west side of Highway 35E near Diffley Road will soon have a cement and wood, noise barrier fence.

I44 runs through Tulsa and is being widened to 6 lanes from Yale Av west to Riverside and these noise walls are being constructed as part of the project. I'm not sure how I feel about them.

Coming to Athens, its traffic was (still is) a challenge, as I grew up in a kind of village, still wake up every night when the pick up the trash, at 03.15 a.m.!
Please have you all a good Wednesday.

In Brazil we don't have this walls, yet, I think... Someday maybe. First we need to be able to buy better cars and them we will need walls... ;)

Some places just need these barriers...

Laughed at Bibi's comment. Some of these barriers are really quite necessary, tho.

Well, it's better than a separation barrier like we have.
