The newlyweds, Bharat and Arpana, had arrived in Jaipurfrom the wedding in her village and performed another ceremony at home the next morning. Bharat's mother exchanged rice with Arpana. It's now a fantastic memory and they are special friends!
Julie and I think it is great that you travelled to India for this wedding. What an experience. Jaipur is an amazing place, even without a wedding to highlight the trip.
Now that's what I've been waiting for...a beautiful bride! I agree with Dave since I have visited India in the past. Miss the lovely, gentle people, but, oh, so wish that something positive could be done about the grinding poverty.
Great Leif !! Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures !! It was really fantastic to have you with us in the wedding !! I am really glad that you enjoyed !!
What a wonderful experience Leif, all the images from the wedding you've shown us have been lovely. J'adore Arpana's wedding sari, so beautifully made.
