... Minnesota is coming out of a budgetary shutdown!
Eagan is getting a
new bridge over highway 35E called the
"Duckwood Drive Overpass" which will connect Duckwood Drive to Federal Drive. It will lessen the traffic of the Pilot Knob and Yankee Doodle Roads intersection.
"Ribbon cutting" will hopefully be by November 15. See other
"Sunday Bridges" meme participants
here.

November 15, as in, THIS year?! I'm impressed!
Nice photos. Someday they will be historical.
Nicely captured Leif! That's very good news for Eagan... I'm hoping Montreal will get a new bridge to replace one that is threatening to collapse!... into the St. Lawrence River!
Bon dimanche!
Also lots of road construction all around us!
I always wonder how they do it.
Wow, that's some fast work! Can't wait to see it completed! :D
I'm used to seeing fast construction in China. In the Philippines, by stark contrast, it happens at a snail's pace. I'm sure you'll be glad when the ribbon is cut.
I had to drive under what would be the Fourth St bridge every day and found it exciting to watch the changes as it was being built.
The news media covered the effects of your state budget crisis on threatening the ability of bars to sell beer. They did not mention bridge construction as much.
i love to watch construction projects develop
Estupendas todas las fotos de tu blog. Un placer haber pasado por tu casa.
Saludos y un abrazo.
I love pictures like these, works in progress are always interesting.
Given Minnesota's and the federal budget problems -- as well as most other states -- this might be the last new bridge you see in a while.
Well done to Eagan! hopefully the construction won't be too lengthy and you can drive over your new bridge!
So good to watch a project developing, will look forward to seeing more as it goes along Leif.
Interesting to watch them building things. And I love the names of your roads!
