Bon voyage, Robson!

After a great year as our Eagan Rotary Club exchange student from Brazil, Robson Garcia, gave his year wrap-up presentation, thanked our club and said good-bye at our weekly, Wednesday lunch meeting. Rotarian Michael Proebstle and his sons, Robson's first host family, wore their Brazil soccer jerseys. (wife Cathy was at work)
Good luck, Robson!

Robson must feel sad to be leaving all his new friends in Eagan! But he'll be going home with fond memories of his experience. Have a safe trip home, Robson!

The student exchange program is such a good idea. I bet Robson thoroughly enjoyed his time in Eagan.

Was the jersey for the men's or the women't soccer team? Whatever...it's a terrific send-off. Eagan now has a Brazilian friend for life.

Did you learn to dance samba? You should. It's a funny way to make exercises. :)

That really was a nice send off as Kate stated. Nice shot too.

My sister had her 50th high school reunion a month ago, and a German exchange student in her class came back for it. When you are a teen, you have no idea that the experience will influence you for an entire life.

I bet it was difficult to say good-bye for all of you in Eagan. But I also bet Robson was excited to be going home. :)

Awesome! Always loved the exchange student programs, you get to live with new people, to learn new things and generally feel the spirit of the country. Even better if your host family are as cool as Robson's. Cheers, Brazilian guy!
