That mahogany-colored truck seems to camouflage with the rest of the woods. It’s quite a fantastic sight! Winter can sometimes be a hassle, but it’s still a beautiful season people look forward to every year.
A few more pounds of snow, and that Ford is done for. I wonder if it still works or someone just really left it out like that. As for the number 10, my theory is that it may have been once owned by a company with tons of other pick-up trucks and they put numbers on them to know exactly how many they have, hehe! =)
Driving along Lone Oak Road, I spotted this old Ford pickup truck sitting next to a rundown house waiting for spring. Why number 10?

Looks like a tired '68 - '70.
My guess is that it is an ex-DNR / State wildlife work truck. each would have had a unique number like that ?
Maybe it was used in old pickup truck races :)

Great capture. This is classic Americana. An old Ford, knee deep snow and a mystery hidden in the trees. Maybe it was a "10" in its day.
