Maybe the colors are meant to convey mood and feeling--to me it looks like a sugary carb-rush mixed with a caffeine high; pretty in its colorful overload.
Great picture. Glowing McDonalds ... cool. Certainly, it looks different to the McDonalds that I show in my city photoblog (although I didn't take a picture of the actual building of the restaurant).
